The Aquarium ArtWalk Project: 100% volunteer driven
Raising Awareness through the Power of Art!
The Aquarium, a destination for kids of all ages, will be built at Port Canaveral on the Banana River by the East Coast Zoological Society (Brevard Zoo). It is targeted to open in a few years. The Aquarium will offer interactive experiences that spotlight conservation efforts, the Indian River Lagoon and marine animal rehabilitation programs. In keeping with Brevard Zoo’s tradition, it promises great fun!

The volunteer group behind the ArtWalk formed in 2019 after participating in a community engagement session hosted by Brevard Zoo. Passionate about the arts, the group dreamed up the ArtWalk and has been planning the event for over two years. After several Covid interruptions, the team is thrilled to showcase amazing local artists while spreading the news about The Aquarium.
We are all so excited about the world-class Aquarium being developed right here on the Space Coast – and we hope you are too!
